The homeland of Marzemino Trentino is very obviously the Vallagarina, the southern part of the Adige valley in the Province of Trento. In this area there are several "micro-zones", such as that called "dei Ziresi" in the municipality of Volano, and larger areas such as those in the municipality of Isera, which are particularly suited for the growing of this vine: from the rich and fertile soils of the former and the loose, volcanic soils of the latter, come the grapes which are used to obtain this wine, which is distinguished by its extraordinarily delicate and fruity fragrance, reminiscent of violets and for its clean, pleasantly dry taste.
